ARUNDHATI WINS WORLD YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP

SSPARK Sports Athlete and Indian Boxer, Arundhati Choudhary becomes the 2021 World Youth Boxing Champion. Choudhary won the title after a convincing 5-0 victory over Poland’s Barbara Marcinkowska in the Women’s Welter (64-69kg) Finals at the AIBA Youth Men’s and Women’s  Boxing Championships 2021 held in Kielce, Poland. 

The talented young boxer showcased a dominating performance throughout the tournament winning all four of her matches with a score of 5-0 in the welterweight category. Choudhary beat  Khadichabonu Abdullaeva from Uzbekistan to reach the finals and became the fifth Indian Woman to win a Gold in the Championship. 

The young boxer from Kota is a three-time Khelo India Boxing Winner and has been on an impressive winning streak since she finished on the top podium at the 2017 Junior National Boxing  Championship. 

Her consistent dedication and passion for her sport has taken her to instant fame even in the international circuit, getting her four gold medals at the 2017 Valeria Demyanova International  Tournament, 2018 National Cup Serbia, 2018 Junior Nations Cup, Varbas Serbia, and 30th Adriatic  Pearl Youth Boxing Championship, Budva, Montenegro.
